Who we are

Escape Luxe Creations is run by Alison Burns in Burnley, Lancashire. She decides how the details you send are used.

What we collect

Only what you type into the forms on this site: your name, how to reach you, what you'd like made, and any photo you choose to attach. If your order is posted, Alison will also need your address. If you message her on WhatsApp, that conversation is held by WhatsApp and on Alison's phone. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

What it's used for

To reply to you, to quote, and to make and hand over your order. We rely on your request as the reason for using it. It is never sold or passed to anyone for marketing.

Where it's kept

The forms are run by Netlify, which hosts this site and stores submissions on our behalf, and then emailed to Alison. Netlify may hold data outside the UK under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long

Enquiries that don't become an order are deleted within 12 months. For orders, the details needed for sales records are kept for six years, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send a message through the order form saying it's about your data. If you're unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
